A seventh person has been charged as part of an ongoing alleged drug supply investigation in the Illawarra.
In October 2025, Lake Illawarra Police District detectives established Strike Force Yetna to investigate the alleged supply of prohibited drugs by criminal networks in the region.
About 7.35am last Thursday (22 January), a search warrant was executed at a home in Headwater Place, Albion Park.
Police allegedly located and seized cocaine, vials of steroids, knuckle dusters and $1645 in cash.
On the same day, police executed eight other search warrants across the Lake Illawarra Police District, resulting in the arrests and charges of six people, who remain before the courts.
About 7am on Friday, a 35-year-old man was arrested at Wollongong Police Station.
He was charged with supply prohibited drug greater than or equal to commercial quantity, possess prohibited weapon without permission and recklessly deal with the proceeds of crime less than or equal to $5000.
He was refused bail and appeared in Bail Division Court on Friday where he was granted conditional bail to appear in Wollongong Local Court on 1 April.
Inquiries continue under Strike Force Yetna continue.
